About us
A Houston center for scheduled surgical care.
Oaks Surgical Center is a multi-specialty outpatient facility in Houston. Patients come here for procedures arranged by their own physicians—not for walk-in medical advice. Our staff’s role is to prepare the operating rooms, support the surgical team, and guide you through the day of surgery.
We concentrate on five areas of outpatient work: spine surgery, maxillofacial surgery, podiatric surgery, otorhinolaryngology (ENT), and interventional pain management. That focus lets the center stay equipped for the cases we actually host, rather than trying to be a full hospital.
Because surgery is scheduled in advance, we can spend time on the details that matter: pre-operative calls, insurance questions, arrival instructions, and a recovery area where family can rejoin you when you are ready.
How we work
Your surgeon. Our facility.
- Physician partnershipProcedures are performed by surgeons who bring their patients here. Medical questions about diagnosis and treatment belong with your physician.
- Respect through the visitCheck-in, pre-op, and recovery should feel orderly and considerate. If something is unclear, ask—our staff is here to explain the facility side of your day.
- Prepared rooms and staffThe center is set up for outpatient cases, with equipment and nursing support matched to the specialties we host.
- A quieter alternative to the hospitalWhen your physician determines an outpatient setting is appropriate, you avoid the noise and overnight stay of a larger hospital campus.
Questions
Common questions about the center.
What kinds of procedures are done here?
Oaks Surgical Center hosts outpatient cases in spine surgery, maxillofacial surgery, podiatric surgery, ENT, and pain management. Your physician decides whether a procedure is appropriate for an outpatient setting.
Do I need a referral?
Many patients are scheduled through their surgeon’s office. You may also call the center to ask about next steps. We cannot diagnose conditions over the phone.
Is every procedure minimally invasive?
Technique is chosen by your surgeon. When a less invasive approach is suitable for your case, that is a conversation between you and your physician—not something the center decides independently.
Which insurance plans are accepted?
Coverage varies by plan and procedure. Call (832) 571-1237 before your visit so our business office can help you understand what may be due at check-in.
How should I get ready?
You will receive instructions specific to your case—often including arrival time, eating and drinking limits, and which medications to take. Follow those instructions; they come from your care team, not from generic website advice.
Oaks Surgical Center does not provide medical consultations. Please contact your physician with questions about conditions or treatments. If you have a medical emergency, call 911.
